Taking a Breather
by ShesARedHead
Taking a breather today folks because honestly, eloping sounds pretty darn good right about now.
HOWEVER,
I know, once things start to fall into place, I will be so delighted that we are having a wedding, just not yet.
After looking at every venue possible in Houston and surrounding areas, as well as Austin, I have narrowed it down to 3, which we will be viewing within the next couple weeks.
I know what my problem is: I want to plan and pay for our wedding all in one day which is obviously nowhere near possible. I have never been very good at finishing a project, although I can start them all day long. I get bored, distracted and ancy. I’m a sprinter, not a long distance runner.
At least I know what my issue is, right?
Tonight, we shall dine out on the city sipping on red wine and imagining the day that we are husband and wife…but for now, I’m just making sure I’m breathing.

You’ll be alright
I know how you feel though, I am at my breaking point, and so wishing we had just eloped. You have some time to plan, so enjoy it and take it easy. Don’t over do it all at once, pace yourself!
Thanks Liina!! I do have time, time is on my side! wheww!
I love reading the progress you’re making with your wedding plans. As a planner (one that is still learning and far from her own wedding) it’s interesting seeing how bride-to-bes deal with the planning process on their own and seeing what hurdles they have to go through. It’s also quite the learning experience for me, I can see what stresses brides out that way I can help them in the future. Anyways, I hope the process isn’t too stressful for you and congrats on the engagement!
Thank you! Sometimes I think it may have been easier to plan a wedding over 4 months, than 11 months! ha but it will come together, i’m sure of it! I just need to pace myself!
